UNDERSTANDING THIS PRODUCT

RubOut Spray is a fast acting effective ink and stain remover for most man-made hard and soft surfaces. This product is formulated to be safe, efficient, and economical when used as directed. It is free from acutely hazardous, volatile, or flammable solvents and offensive odors found in less effective products. As with all chemical products, read, understand, and use all precautions listed here, on the label, and in the Material Safety Data Sheets before use.

TEST SURFACE

As with any product of this nature, test the surface for color fastness and resistance to damage before using. Apply small amount of RubOut Spray to surface area and allow to stand for five minutes. Blot dry then rinse with a damp rag. Wipe dry any residue moisture. Avoid further use if surface is melted or bleached. Water can be added to dilute RubOut Spray to lower the chance of damaging sensitive material.

Applications using RubOut Spray: Vinyl, leather, wood, hard plastics, metal, glass, and porcelain.

Once you have determined that it is safe to apply RubOut Spray, apply to area to rid of any ink graffiti or tough stains, then blot dry with a clean rag. Allow RubOut Spray to remain for up to five minutes on aged ink spots and stubborn stains. Use a Scotch Brite Pad to help remove any lingering stain. CAUTION: When using Scotch Brite Pad, avoid removing surface color and grain or texture. NEVER vigorously rub. Follow with a water damp rag to remove any RubOut Spray residue. If RubOut Spray has been diluted with water, you may find it necessary to apply several coats to remove stain completely.

LEATHER APPLICATION:

Test the leather surface by using an inconspicuous area to watch for any resulting damage. Allow up to five minutes for RubOut Spray to remain on the leather surface. Never assume each piece will react the same even though they may be similar. Blot dry and apply gentle heat to dry if leather becomes saturated. A soft bristle brush will help remove stains on some suede. TEST FIRST! DO NOT USE A SCOTCH BRITE PAD ON ANY PIECE OF LEATHER.

CARPET AND CLOTH APPLICATION

Carpet and cloth must be tested in the same manner as above. However, it is critical that you watch very closely for color fading and break down of fiber material. You will want to choose an inconspicuous area to test RubOut Spray with water to obtain a desirable working solution. For tough stains, multiple applications of water diluted RubOut Spray may be necessary. Blot dry between and after applications.
